"TMOs Must Prepare for Impact of Welfare Reform"
Well attended TMO training courses in London and Walsall have underlined the message that TMOs should be preparing for the impact of Welfare Reform. The sessions were led by WATMOS Chief Exec, Ursula Barrington and Bushbury Hill Chief Officer, Karen Williams. They highlighted the potential impact on TMO business plans, as well as on individuals and the local community.
Course participants shared ideas and experience about how TMOs can most accurately assess the potential impact of Welfare changes, and what actions can be taken to support individuals and mitigate risks to the TMO and damage to the community.
NFTMO members can share materials such as surveys and information leaftets by going to the news section of the members' area of this site.
